EU food and drink industry promotes education and training

01 December 2014

FoodDrinkEurope and the European Federation of Food Agriculture and Tourism Trade Unions (EFFAT) have launched an industry pledge to encourage high quality apprenticeships and traineeships in food and drink manufacturing companies across Europe.
The initiative aims to help solve the lack of skills and job opportunities in Europe. It encourages food and drink manufacturers i.a. to organise readiness for work programmes with educational institutions and to share knowledge and experiences with education providers.
