Medical device packaging professionals surveyed

30 March 2015

US medical device packaging professionals are predominantly male (75%) and typically 40-50 years old. Half of them earn more than $100,000 per year. These and other findings are given in the Healthcare Packaging Medical Device Survey 2015.
The vast majority of medical device packagers respond positively to general questions about “being supported by their organization,” however when it comes to packaging’s seat at the table, or having enough time to meet project deadlines, results are less positive. Upper management has a far rosier view of their organization than employees in the trenches and smaller organization are stressed more by regulatory requirements than large organizations.
