EC guidance: working safely with manufactured nanomaterials

The European Commission has published two documents to support those working with manufactured nanomaterials. The first document, entitled “Working Safely with Manufactured Nanomaterials – Guidance for Workers” addresses a number of frequently asked questions with regards to hazard, exposure, and risk.
The second document, entitled “Guidance on the Protection of the Health and Safety of Workers from the Potential Risks related to Nanomaterials at Work – Guidance for Employers and Health and Safety Practitioners”, aims to assist employers and trained health and safety professionals ensuring adequate protection of workers’ health and safety (SafeNano Website, 9 December 2014).
