Consumer behavior during online shopping

A Metapack report states that ‘96% of consumers say they would shop with a retailer again following a positive delivery experience’. This report, brought out on the 29th of October 2015, analyses 3.000 consumers from the ages of 18 to 65 in the UK, US, France, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands. Questions were asked in relevance to delivery service preferences and how these can shape a retailer’s e-commerce strategy.
Results, as can be seen in an infographic, show that almost 50% of participants have paid more for more convenient delivery, 76% review return options before ordering, and 81% says that they track their parcel 2 or more times during delivery.
