NVC meeting: Using recyclate in food contact materials – Opportunities and challenges

NVC member meeting in collaboration with Triskelion, FrieslandCampina and the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS)
Live Hybrid from Triskelion in Utrecht
Friday 15 December 2023
01:00 PM - 03:00 PM CET

The new European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation PPWR is in the making.
One of the objectives is to reduce the need for primary natural resources by increasing the use of recycled plastics in packaging through mandatory targets. This includes packaging that comes into contact with food.

During the meeting, together with FrieslandCampina, Triskelion and the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS), we will map out the challenges and opportunities for using recycled content in food-contact packaging. We will also discuss the process to ensure product safety and how to monitor this. Your participation as an NVC member company is highly appreciated.
