Improving return logistics for E-commerce

30 June 2015

Products that are bought online, are in many cases returned, especially clothes. 47% of the European consumers study the product return agreement before conducting an online purchase. A report from Paalz describes this product return system and studies how the percentage of returned products can be decreased, and how the processing of these returned products can be sped up.
By identifying juridical, communicative and logistic problems, these questions are answered through implementable solutions for [r]etailers. Solutions such as omni-channel retailing and free return logistics (for consumers), can lead to more online sales (357%) and fewer products returned (45%).
