UPS study reveals online shoppers want more flexibility

16 March 2015

Online shoppers around the world want the ability to search and shop on multiple channels and devices, expect to see alternate delivery and payment options, and when it comes to shipping and returns, "free" is a driving factor to complete the sale. UPS has released the second UPS Pulse of the Online Shopper Global Study revealing emerging trends from the leading e-commerce markets in Asia, Brazil, Europe, Mexico and the U.S.
According to the study online shoppers are looking for alternate delivery options. European online shoppers are gradually embracing emerging technologies. They make the fewest purchases on a smartphone compared to the other markets (Press Release UPS, 3 March 2015).
