Research study: Consumer behaviour at supermarkets

In a research study by Deloitte 2,368 participants came to the conclusion that the price is the most important aspect of a good supermarket. 14% of the same participants is keen on ordering their groceries online, and if their supermarket does not offer this service, 10% of the respondents would be willing to order from another supermarket.
This consumer behaviour research study also describes statistics in relation to the self-scan machines, consumer’s price comparing behaviour between supermarkets and consumer preferences in home delivery. Of the latter, 70% of the respondents was keen on home delivery, of which 54% preferred evening delivery windows.
