ECHA: Eight steps for applying for authorization

27 August 2015

ECHA has published new support pages to help companies understand the steps they need to follow to apply for authorisation. Authorisation is required for putting substances on the market that are on the Authorisation List (List of substances included in Annex XIV of REACH), and for using substances that are on the Authorisation List to produce articles. The web pages present eight steps that companies need to take, from finding out whether they need to apply for authorisation to the steps of the application process to complying with their obligations once authorisation is granted. Useful links and background material are also available at each step along the way (ECHA e-News, 1 July 2015).
