DE: New logo DSD, Green Dot on packaging remains the same

20 February 2015

DSD – Duales System Holding GmbH & Co. KG has unveiled an updated version of the "green dot" logo it first unveiled about 15 years ago. Since then, the symbol has become internationally recognized, and DSD has expanded into new areas of recycling and environmental performance services.
Today the Packaging Recovery Organisation Europe s.p.r.l. (PRO EUROPE) manages the licensing of the original Green Dot symbol. DSD holds the license for the Green Dot in Germany. NVC has checked with DSD whether the Green Dot symbol on the packaging will also be changed. They told us that this is not the case. That means that you can continue to use the current Green Dot on your packaging.

With NVC MERGE (Members-only Environmental Regulations Guide) you can stay up-to-date with the environmental requirements for your packaging. MERGE is exclusively for NVC members and there are no costs involved.
