NVC visits IPACK-IMA 2025, scouts innovations and trends in packaging

From 27 to 30 May 2025, the Italian packaging exhibition IPACK-IMA will take place in Milan.
NVC will visit the exhibition, scouting the innovations and trends and sharing these with the NVC members worldwide, both in conversations during the show and afterwards via the NVC business information services.

Innovations: World Star Packaging Gala and De Gouden Noot 33^rd edition
On Friday evening 30 May 2025, the World Star Packaging Gala will take place. With an expected number of over two hundred winners from all over the world, this full-evening event offers a good insight into what new developments packaging suppliers are bringing to the market. AI for the packaging sector
Artificial Intelligence (AI) in general and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in particular will have a great influence on packaging in the coming years. At the IPACK-IMA, the NVC explores where GenAI might be beneficial to the packaging business community and where severe risks may occur. GenAI in packaging is the focus of several NVC activities, including the recently published report ‘An Introduction to GenAI in the Packaging Sector’.
