With the appointment of Verpakkingsvrouw Nederland 2026 (Packaging Woman Netherlands 2026), Empack Netherlands and NVC Packaging Centre are contributing to the sustainable strengthening of packaging by promoting female packaging professionalism in the sector. In doing so, they are partly inspired by the SAGE (sustainable ageing) movement, which is working towards a sustainably ageing society. Both quantitatively (the impending shortage of skilled employees in packaging), and qualitatively (adequate quality of decision-making requires equivalent influence of women and men), the Packaging Woman Netherlands 2026 is a source of inspiration for men and women, boys and girls, current and future generations.
