Appointment of the Packaging Woman Netherlands 2027

In mid-March 2027, the Appointment Committee for the Packaging Woman of the Netherlands 2027 will meet to decide which of the nominees will be appointed as the Packaging Woman of the Netherlands 2027. The Packaging Woman of the Netherlands 2026 is Kim Stemkens, Innovation Lead Packaging at JUMBO Supermarkets. She was awarded the magnificent gold pin (see photo) as a token of support and appreciation from all of us. She also serves on the Appointment Committee.

Join us on Wednesday afternoon, 14 April 2027 at 4 PM CEST at Empack Nederland in Den Bosch to congratulate the new Packaging Woman of the Netherlands at the official appointment ceremony – and then enjoy the exclusive after-party with all the nominees!

With the annual appointment of the Packaging Woman Netherlands, NVC Packaging Centre and Empack Netherlands are fostering the sustainable strengthening of the packaging sector by promoting female expertise in packaging. Their efforts are inspired by the Sustainably AGEing (SAGE) movement, that is working towards tomorrow’s sustainably ageing society.

Both quantitatively (the looming shortage of skilled packaging staff) and qualitatively (good decision-making requires equal influence from women and men), the Packaging Woman Netherlands is a source of inspiration for men and women, boys and girls, and current and future generations in the field of packaging.
