Packaging standardisation

NVC chairs the Netherlands national Packaging Standardisation Committee. The secretariat is run by the Netherlands Standardisation Institute NEN. This NEN committee is the Dutch voice for international packaging standardisation (in CEN, ISO etc). The members comment and vote on the packaging standards that are under development and participate in the writing of standards. Areas of interest include accessible design, dangerous goods, test measures and requirements, sustainability, food hygiene and identification. If your company or organisation is interested in participating in this committee, please contact Ger Standhardt, +31-(0)182-512411.

The World Packaging Standardisation Newsletter (WPSN) provides you with a concise three-monthly overview of the complex and often very detailed process of standards development worldwide. Members of the Netherlands national Packaging Standardisation Committee receive the WPSN. All NVC members interested in packaging standards development can also receive the WPSN (no costs involved).
If you are interested in receiving WPSN, please contact Helen Crowe, +31-(0)182-512411.

The NVC LinkedIn group Packaging Standardisation is the online place for discussing the implementation of existing and the development of new standards in the field of packaging.
