NVC General Meeting of Members 2025
NVC Packaging Centre was founded on 28 April 1953. The upcoming General Meeting of Members (GMM) on Thursday, 27 November 2025, we therefore will be celebrating our 72nd anniversary. The GMM consists of two consecutive meetings: the Statutory Meeting and the Thematic Meeting.
The Statutory Meeting (1-2 PM CET) – NVC members only

The Thematic Meeting (3-5.30 PM CET)
Together, we will explore an important question for the future:
How can AI help in the transition to future-proof packaging materials and the associated testing and qualification methods?
We will start with short introductory presentations by four leading co-hosts and then split into small working groups. Each group will work on a joint assignment, assisted by NVC staff and the co-hosts. The working groups will then apply (different) AI agents to specially curated NVC databases. These comprise a total of 600 research and company publications on packaging materials and the methods used to test and qualify them.
Finally, each working group presents all its findings in a plenary feedback session. Afterwards, each participant receives all the results obtained.

Practical information
The format is Live Hybrid. You can participate together with other NVC members on-site (City Hotel Gouda) or you can actively participate live online from any other location. There are no costs involved.
