European Packaging Network hosts PUMA to end packaging as an environmental issue worldwide

On November 19th - 20th the next annual European Packaging Network event will take place at the Runnymede-upon-Thames, Egham, Surrey, UK.

The requirements and pressures on modern packaging are changing. Packaging in FMCG, Food & Drink and Retail is having to become more intelligent, sustainable and creative; as well being able to instantly communicate information about the product and brand to drive company growth. The annual European Packaging Network Conference addresses senior directors involved in packaging and its various disciplines to understand and solve the challenges by hearing relevant case studies, share best practice and hear from some of the cutting-edge branding, materials, technology and innovation providers.

This year’s edition will be hosting PUMA, the project aiming to make an end to packaging as an environmental issue worldwide. This is a further development on the unique workshop hosted by the Conference on 22nd June 2016 sharing the application of the Circular Economy insights in the field of packaging, with NVC Netherlands Packaging Centre and DG Environment of the European Commission.
