NVC chairs PackagingworX Conference 2025 redefining the packaging lifecycle for a circular, sustainable future
On 12 and 13 March 2025 NVC Packaging Centre will be chairing PackagingWorX Amsterdam, the annual conference that focuses on redefining the entire packaging lifecycle for a circular, sustainable future.
Key speakers at PackagingWorX 2025 are thought leaders from NVC Packaging Centre member companies, including Unilever, Reckitt, UPM and Mondi, as well as scientists from leading research institutes, like Wageningen University and Research.
The NVC-PackagingWorX partnership is rooted deeply in the PUMA Project. PUMA aims to make an end to packaging as an environmental issue worldwide by sharing reliable and up-to-date information, nourishing the respectful exchange of insights and stimulating joint sustainable innovations in packaging.
NVC manager Packaging materials and processes Serra Anker will be attending the conference as a delegate, bringing her latest insights on the application of Artificial Intelligence in the packaging sector. She is co-author of the recently published NVC Report An Introduction to GenAI in the Packaging Sector (EAN/ISBN 978-90-74862-19-6). Specifically, AI-applications in packaging materials characterisation and in analysing the complex different regulations on packaging and environment have been studied.
